Position Overview:

DoubleVerify is currently seeking junior-to-senior level SysOps Engineers to support our New York based IT Infrastructure team. At present, we're hiring for both regular full time and part-time engineers for various day time and night time shifts.

Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Operating and maintaining DoubleVerify's applications, servers and network
• Configuring, monitoring and administrating Linux and Windows systems
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development and deployment
• Support and build upon automation tools (Nolio, Chef, etc)
• Managing and maintaining DoubleVerify Monitoring Systems (these systems report on the status and performance of DoubleVerify's network, ISP services and processes)
• Maintenance of technical documentation (for NOC), processes and procedures used throughout normal operations
• Development of knowledge and skills in network and system administration, particularly with regard to DoubleVerify's own architecture and platforms
• Participation in 24/7/365 on-call rotation Preferred

Requirements:

• 1-2 years (junior level) and 5+ years (senior level) of experience in a Systems Operations technical support setting is required
• Windows/Linux administration skills (IIS and/or Apache configuration)
• Solid understanding of network a concepts and diagnostics and application protocols (TCP/IP, Load-balancing, DNS, HTTP, switching and routing technologies, etc)
• Experience working with Virtual machines (vmware)
• Some experience with cloud computing (ex: AWS) preferred
• Experience with monitoring systems and management tools (ex: Nagios)
• Some scripting abillities (Perl, Python, Bash)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Ticketing/Helpdesk systems preferred
• Previous experience with technical documentation
