About This Job:

Insticator is an awesome, one of a kind social prediction startup in the Hyper Scaling Social TV space. You’ll get to be part of the product development team responsible for developing, packaging, testing and documenting web-enabled high throughput solutions. This isn’t a coffee runner position; you’ll help develop every aspect of our product!

• 3+ years of experience with Java
• Experience with multi-threaded applications & thorough understanding of data structures & garbage collection
• Thorough knowledge of SQL
• Object-oriented system design
• BS/MS degree in computer science/engineering
• A “Can-Do” attitude

Nice to know

• Experience with front-end web development using Javascript & CSS
• Experience with MySQL preferred
• Experience with NOSQL databases such as HBase, Cassandra preferred
• Experience with Graph DB's such as Neo4J, OrientDB preferred
• Experience with mobile application development (iOS and/or Android) preferred
• Experience with in-memory data grids/caches preferred
• Experience in integrating with various social network feeds (not just authentication)
• Experience with UNIX and shell scripting
• Experience in multi-platform development on a large code base is a plus
• Knowledge of design patterns is a plus
• Strong analytic and communications skills
• A TV Junkie is a big plus, but not necessary!
