About Our Product
We’re shaking up the e-commerce industry with a big idea: enabling e-commerce publishers to monetize the 97% of visitors who aren’t buying on their sites. Our technology analyzes hundreds of millions of data points to determine consumer intent. This allows us to deliver incredibly relevant content that maximizes revenue for our customers.
About our Agile Engineering & QA Process
We believe in short iterations, daily releases, and working in small teams to solve hard problems. We build things iteratively while constantly communicating our progress. Our QA engineers report to the VP of engineering and our QA process is integrated into our engineering builds. As soon as our engineers have scoped out their development plans for their new story, they sit down with one of our QAs to plan out the tests they’ll run while they’re writing the code. You’ll be responsible for overseeing and administering both manual and automation tests. Everyone on the team is responsible for quality, and they look to the QA team for guidance.

- You have experience driving the QA process, determining needs and developing strategy. You are a strong leader and can clearly communicate your testing strategies.
- Because we are on a daily release schedule, you must have a keen ability to regularly identify high-risk parts of the application and ensure they’re bulletproof.
- You have a drive to be the best you can be, and an interest in learning new technology.
You are competent in:
- Black box or GUI testing
- Simple SQL queries and insert/update statements
- Behavior-driven development in a Ruby or Java environment
Bonus points if you have experience with some of the following:
- Ruby on Rails and RSpec
- Hadoop Map Reduce
- Amazon Web Services
