In that vein we’re looking for someone who loves (like…LOVES) finance and has a real passion for using financial tools and systems to help business get to know themselves and explore their potential. A large portion of this job will be mentoring our early stage companies and helping them as they grow and mature.

You will work closely with the General Manager of each betaworks company and help them with:

  • financial forecasts for capital expenditures, and operating expenses
  • development and evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives
  • cap tables, financials and projections, valuations, legal compliance, financing, board formation, option grants, trademarks
  • whatever else they need to make them successful

At the betaworks level you’ll be:

  • working with our outside accountants to prepare monthly and annual financial statements
  • preparing materials for board presentations
  • providing shareholders with year-end reporting
  • generally keeping the financial operations of betaworks on an even keel

You'll also be working very closely with our investment team, helping them as needed with wire transfers, interfacing with our accountants and keeping all the paperwork around each deal neat and tidy.
